Abstract

Abstract art is the domain of dreams, musings, journeys, memories, and whimsical fantasies. Often, these expressionistic paintings are rooted in specific places. “River Breaking Free” is inspired by the St. Lawrence River of my Montreal childhood. “Kasbah” comes from Istanbul. “Beachcomber” evokes the essence of sea, sand, shell and seaweed. And sometimes, I just play with paint and texture.
