I began taking photos as a source of inspiration for painting, exploring abstract imagery in nature. Looking through a camera lens changed the way I saw things, and photography became both an act of creation and meditation. Ultimately the photographs are pieces of art in themselves. These photos were taken in Namibia, Spain, Petra, Paris, Israel and in my own backyard in Vancouver.
